AusNet is seeking a skilled Lead Structural Engineer to optimize our Distribution network. This role involves providing specialized engineering expertise to ensure the cost, risk, and performance of our assets are optimized over their lifecycle.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Engineering (Structural or equivalent) and demonstrated experience in the Utilities industry. They will also have a strong understanding of Asset Management leading practices, frameworks, and relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide an overview of network asset performance and advise on effective management
* Review calculations for loads and stresses to ensure safety standards are met
* Identify and implement innovative asset management techniques
* Establish contingency and risk management plans
Requirements:
* Degree qualified in Engineering (Structural or equivalent)
* Demonstrated experience within the Utilities industry in engineering/asset management
* Understanding of Asset Management leading practices, frameworks, and relevant standards
