Position : Systems administration/Senior Document Controller
Location: Fortitude Valley

Pay Rate: $60-$70/hr
Assignment: Temporary, Full-time, 38hrs/week until Feb 2026 with possibility of extension
Maxima is seeking a Senior Document Controller / Project Commissioning & Systems Specialistfor a position with our government client.
This role combines document control, project commissioning and systems administration responsibilities across water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Key duties include:
* Managing and controlling project documentation across systems such as InEight, TRIM (Qdox), RedEye, BIM, and eDRMS.
* Issue, track, and control project documentation including engineering, supplier, procurement, commercial, and technical information.
* Leading Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and managing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
* Administering InEight system integration, reporting, troubleshooting, database management, and licensing.
* Supporting stakeholders with guidance, training and process improvements to ensure compliant, accurate and timely project delivery.
* Review and enhance existing document control and commissioning processes.
* Provide professional advice, guidance, and training to internal users of document management and commissioning systems.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* Background in engineering or construction, preferably within the water and wastewater industry.
* 3–6 years' experience in project document control and/or project commissioning roles.
* Proven experience in project/program management, including Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) frameworks.
* Expert user of electronic Document and Records Management Systems (TRIM, eDRMS, RedEye) and InEight.
* Experience with BIM, HP TRIM, and RedEye preferred.
* Strong knowledge of document classification, retention, and disposal schedules.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
* A current C Class driver's licence.
