Trojan Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a leading defence industry client. Located in the western suburbs, there are current opportunities available for experienced Industrial Cleaners to support maintenance and operational activities within a high‐security defence environment.
Responsibilities
- Industrial cleaning of workshops and production areas
- High‐pressure washing and surface preparation
- Cleaning machinery, equipment and work areas
- Waste removal and housekeeping duties
- Assisting trades personnel as required
- Working in confined spaces
- Following strict safety and environmental procedures
- General labouring duties
Qualifications
- Previous industrial, commercial or heavy‐duty cleaning experience
- Experience working in manufacturing, defence, construction or industrial environments (highly regarded)
- Current National Police Clearance (within the last 3 months)
- Current White Card
- Confined Space training (desirable)
- Forklift Licence and operation experience (highly regarded)
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Current resume with two checkable work references
- Reliable transport to and from work
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Ability to participate in drug and alcohol testing if required
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
