Your New Role And Responsibilities
New opportunity to support a key Australian Defence initiative aimed at enhancing protection through the development and integration of advanced capabilities. The program supports operational readiness by addressing emerging challenges with a comprehensive and adaptable approach.
The Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager and broader delivery team by managing schedules, documentation, stakeholder communications, and reporting. They play a key role in ensuring the program runs smoothly across planning, procurement, integration, and assurance phases.
Responsibilities
* Maintain project schedules, action/decision registers, and milestone tracking tools for effective project oversight.
* Coordinate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements to support communication and collaboration.
* Prepare project documentation, including minutes, reports, dashboards, and ensure compliance with Defence governance and reporting standards.
* Support procurement, contract administration, and liaise with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery.
* Assist with risk and issue tracking, escalation processes, and contribute to overall project control.
About You
* Experience in project coordination or administration within Defence, government, or complex technical environments.
* Strong organisational, communication skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in project tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Jira, Confluence).
* Familiarity with Defence project frameworks (e.g., ASDEFCON, CASG).
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a Baseline level security clearance and be able to uplift to NV‐1 level clearance.
