* Heathcote, Perm PT (34 hours per week) Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 08:00 - 16:00
What You Will Be Doing
As a Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist), you will collect blood and coordinate specimen samples from patients, providing excellent customer service and quality healthcare.
Key responsibilities
* Collecting samples (blood and non-blood) with care and attention
* Keeping meticulous records for every patient and sample
* Delivering documentation within strict turnaround times
* Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing
* Liaising with customers, clinic staff and couriers
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience as a Pathology Collector or a Cert III in Pathology Collection, or a relevant healthcare background.
* Registered Nurse with regular daytime shifts is also suitable.
* No experience allowed if customer service focus and healthcare background; full paid training provided.
Attributes & Skills
* Excellent customer service and communication skills, high empathy.
* Organised, strong time management and attention to detail.
* Ability to work autonomously, sometimes independently in solo clinic.
* Valid driver's licence and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics.
* Working with Children's Check (WWCC) or willing to obtain one.
* Australian citizen / permanent resident / NZ citizen / valid visa with permission to work.
Certifications and Requirements
WWCC is required. Vaccine prevention evidence such as Hepatitis B is required; other vaccinations may be required based on location.
