SS Building Group PTY LTD is seeking qualified and experienced Carpenters to join our team. This is a full-time and sub contracting position that will involve carpentry work on a variety of residential and semi-commercial construction projects.
This opportunity would be a great fit for someone who is looking to start the new year in a new working environment that gives you the opportunity to grow as well as doing all aspects of carpentry on start to finish projects. We are willing to offer leading hand roles, general carpenter role, or this role can be for someone who has just come out of there time and looking to expand there knowledge and grow within our company.
What you'll be doing
* Conduct skilled carpentry, including frame, lock up, fix, office fit outs, deckings, pergolas. We work on both new and existing builds.
* Working with High end custom home builders in the macedon rangers and surrounds.
* Specialise in mult-devlopment builds Victoria wide.
* Working with a mixture of experience and youth who want to learn.
* Use hand and power tools proficiently and safely to carry out construction tasks.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient and coordinated project delivery.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
* Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
What we're looking for
* Formal carpentry, such as a Certificate III in Carpentry.
* Strong technical skills in using hand and power tools, and carrying out a range of carpentry tasks.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to deliver high-quality work.
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Commitment to workplace health and safety.
* High motivation levels with a drive to want to get better.
* Leadership.
* Ability to teach a crew with help from others.
