About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a qualified and motivated Accountant to join our Financial Directorate.
This position plays a key role in the supervision, coordination, and control of financial resources, helping ensure SWH meets its strategic and operational objectives.
As part of the Finance team, you will provide high-level financial analysis, accurate reporting, and expert advice, while ensuring compliance with financial standards, audit requirements, and internal processes.
Your contribution will support the delivery of efficient and timely financial services across the organisation.
Position overview
- Full-time (80 hours per fortnight) with a monthly ADO
- Warrnambool Campus
- Administration Worker Grade 3
- Salary: $74,448.40 - $82,305.60 pro rata + superannuation
What you bring
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, or Business
- Qualified or currently working towards CPA or CA accreditation
- Strong skills in financial analysis, accounting, and economic evaluation
- Experience in reconciliation, journal preparation, and financial reporting
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a agile environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Oracle Financial Software highly regarded
