Who are we looking for?
* Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
* CPA/CA qualified or working towards is desirable.
* 5+ years' experience in accounting, ideally within property, real estate, or asset management.
* Experience managing commercial, retail, or industrial portfolios.
* Strong technical knowledge of property management accounting systems such as MRI, Yardi, or similar.
The Role
Provide vital operational accounting support to Property and Operations Managers ensuring accurate financial records and delivering timely, professional reporting to both clients and internal stakeholders. This role is key to maintaining the integrity of our accounting processes and meeting reporting requirements with diligence and precision.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
* Manage rent rolls, tenant accounts, and outgoings reconciliations.
* Monitor cash flow and provide variance analysis to support landlord and asset manager decisions.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, GST requirements and audit obligations.
* Oversee monthly reconciliations and ensure accuracy of property trust accounts.
* Work closely with property managers, landlords and tenants on financial matters.
