We're seeking Expressions of Interest from Property Accountants or Senior Property Accountants to join our Client Accounting team in Sydney.
As a Senior Property Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting and accounting services across a diverse portfolio of real estate assets. You'll partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide accurate monthly reporting, manage outgoings, support audits, and act as a subject matter expert in property finance.
The Opportunity
* Produce monthly P&L, balance sheet and variance reporting
* Manage outgoings budgets, reconciliations and wash ups
* Support audits and respond to accounting queries
* Acting as a key financial reporting expert for internal teams and clients
* Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
* Partner with internal teams on transitions and portfolio projects
About you
* Years experience in public and/or private accounting
* Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
* Ability to interpret and solve complex accounting issues
* Experience with MRI or Yardi property accounting platforms preferred
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
* CPA/CA qualified or currently working towards it (preferred)
