Hays Cairns Logistics are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Warehouse Assistant/Delivery Driver to join our team working for a well-established organisation here in Cairns. This is a temporary assignment with the opportunity to go permanent.
Your new role
You will be responsible for receiving orders and preparing deliveries, moving and organising stock, loading and unloading materials into trucks and vehicles, conducting deliveries, completing paperwork and ensuring a clean and safe warehouse environment. This is a Monday to Friday ongoing role 7:30am to 4pm.
What you'll need to succeed
You have strong background and skills in warehousing and a great understanding of safety requirements regarding manual handling. You are a team player, proactive and enjoy working with a hands-on approach.
The following skills, tickets and qualifications will also lead to your success in this role:
* Unrestricted MR or HR Driver's Licence (essential)
* Physically fit and able to lift moderate weight
* Forklift Licence (desirable)
* Transport to warehouse
