Ruminant Health and Production Specialist
We are seeking a qualified Ruminant Health and Production Specialist to join our team. As a specialist in this field, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the education, research, and industry engagement of veterinary professionals for regional and rural Australia.
The role involves teaching production animal medicine and veterinary clinical skills to undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as participating in the development and provision of clinical and/or consulting services to livestock producers. You may also have the opportunity to engage and develop your research profile.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality student-centred learning and teaching in ruminant health and production
* Contribute to the development and provision of clinical and/or consulting services to livestock producers
* Engage and develop research profile in ruminant health and production
Requirements:
* A relevant qualification or equivalent experience and accreditation
* Current registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Board as a practicing veterinarian
* Experience in delivering high-quality student-centred learning and teaching, or an aptitude for production animal practice or research
* Ability to develop and maintain strong professional partnerships, networks, and relationships
