Position Profile
This is a casual or fixed term full‐time appointment with 76 hours per fortnight with possibility of extension and permanency. An opportunity exists for a handyperson to join our team. The occupant of this position provides maintenance and support functions including gardening, general labouring, simple repairs, and maintenance relating to the hospitals, clinics, accommodation and associated health service sites within the East Kimberley catchment area.
Eligibility and Requirements
Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia at the time of application, holding a valid working visa for fixed‐term appointments or being an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or visa holder with indefinite work and residency rights for permanent appointments.
WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. Applicants are required to undergo a criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. Depending on the role, a working with children check and a pre‐employment health assessment may also be required.
