Red Parka is a growing retail and wholesale business specialising in art, gifts, and homewares that inspire, educate, and celebrate the natural world. We are looking for a motivated and values-driven individual to join our team and help us achieve our mission. This role is based at our warehouse in Derwent Park.
This is a new role we've created at Red Parka because we really need some assistance with product and packaging design tasks, website management and also with marketing, primarily via newsletters and social media. The role will be varied and have potential to grow for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will
* Assist with graphic design tasks.
* Assist with production of marketing materials, including newsletters.
* Assist with managing social media, including content creation and advertising.
* Assist with keeping our website up to date.
* Support other staff as required with production and general smooth running of the business.
About You
We are seeking someone who:
* Shares our passion for conservation, sustainability and ethical business practices.
* Has graphic design, marketing and content creation skills. Must be proficient in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Social media and newsletter marketing experience essential (our key platforms are Facebook and Instagram and we use Klayvio for our newsletter)
* Possesses excellent communication skills and enjoys collaborating in a team environment.
* Is highly organised, creative, and proactive.
