Glenlevit Broadacre (A W Lyneham & Son) operates a modern 4,000-hectare broadacre farming business near Popanyinning, WA. We run a professional, well-maintained operation focused on doing things properly, with modern machinery, clear systems, and a straightforward working environment.
The role
We are seeking an experienced full-time employee to join our business in a key, trusted role. This position suits someone confident with modern machinery, capable of working independently, and who takes pride in doing the job properly.
You will be involved across all major operations, including:
* Seeding (utilising RTK guidance)
* Spraying (self-propelled)
* Harvesting (machinery operation and trucking)
* General machinery operation, setup, servicing, and care
* Minor sheep work (Merinos) — included but not a primary focus
* Working independently and contributing as a reliable key operator
This is a hands-on role with real responsibility — not a seat-warming position.
Skills & experience required
* Proven experience operating boom spray (preferably self-propelled), airseeder, and harvester
* Strong mechanical awareness and care of machinery
* Ability to work unsupervised and manage your own workload
* Manual driver's licence (essential)
* Reliable, practical, and safety-focused approach
Highly regarded:
* Chemical handling accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
* MC licence (or willingness to obtain); occasional Scania pocket train operation as required (minimal use, support role only)
This role will also suit someone with solid machinery experience who is ready to step into a higher-responsibility position with mentoring and support. We are prepared to invest in the right person who demonstrates capability, work ethic, and the right attitude.

Accommodation: On-farm accommodation is not immediately available. A house will become available in the short term once a new build currently underway is completed. In the interim we are prepared to actively assist the successful applicant with flexible short-term housing arrangements.
