Role Highlights

As Manager Asset Performance you will be responsible for the leading and managing teams undertaking design delivery and providing engineering services and technical support for the operational assets and infrastructure at Fremantle Ports.

In this diverse, hands-on role, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Manage design delivery for sustaining capital projects for operational assets and infrastructure.
* Manage, plan, and deliver programs of multi-disciplinary asset integrity inspections of existing assets and infrastructure to ensure adequacy (fit for purpose) and safety for their intended use.
* Manage, plan, and deliver condition-based reliability investigation and analysis to optimise the performance of assets and infrastructure.
* Manage, develop, and sustain design and engineering resource capability, systems, and processes to monitor, report, and sustain or improve the performance and reliability of ports assets and infrastructure.
* Formulate the team's strategic objectives and compile and deliver operational plans to ensure that the corporate objectives are achieved.
* Monitor national legislation and national and international practices and standards with respect to ports asset and infrastructure design and reliability and ensure Fremantle Ports' practices and standards are appropriate and compare favourably with best practice.

What Makes You a Great Fit

You bring sound leadership, with a collaborative and value-driven mindset, and management skills with the ability to inspire people through clear and consistent messaging and constructively influence others. You have demonstrable experience working with marine and port asset related infrastructure ensuring adequacy (fit for purpose) and safety for their intended use.

You'll also bring:

* Degree in engineering, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in design and engineering management of related assets and infrastructure in an operating environment.
* Experience leading and managing diverse teams within a business environment with multiple business divisions, customer groups, and third-party service providers.
* Knowledge of design and engineering standards, and legislative requirements and standards for port assets and infrastructure.
* A mindset of continuous improvement, consistently seeking ways to enhance systems, processes, and outcomes while embodying our core values of Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence (CARE).
