Type : Part-Time Term : Ongoing Position Details Lead Psychologist St Clare's is a Catholic CaRE school for girls in Years 8 to 12 who have not been able to engage successfully in mainstream schools.
St Clare's School continues the Apostolic work of the Good Shepherd Sisters, who began the school in ****.
We are seeking a highly experienced, committed professional to be part of our Staff Team, leading the Student Support Team.
The successful applicant will be required to complete Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School, WA, within 2 years of commencement, and Accreditation for Teachers, Psychologists, and non-teaching staff in Leadership roles in Catholic Schools within 5 years.
As well as an induction process, there will be a transition period with the current Leadership, depending on start-date.
The Psychologist reports to the School Leadership team.

ROLE CONDITIONS Ongoing, 0.6 FTE (over 3 days per week; days negotiated) Negotiated ***** weeks per year (FTE = 45 weeks/year) Salary: CEWA Salary Schedule, Psychologists.
Step Level and Leadership Allowance negotiated depending on qualifications and Experience.
Professional supervision included in package Proposed start date: Negotiable as soon as practicable, but, at the latest, 20 January ****.
Selection Criteria Essential:
• Commencement of Provisional Psychology Supervision
• Psychologist experience working with children, young people and families
• Knowledge of pathways and networks for youth mental health services and disability services
• Advanced understanding of the impacts of childhood trauma as it relates to mental health diagnosis and developmental trajectory
• Demonstrated ability to deliver a range of evidence-supported clinical interventions, for a wide range of presentations in young people, in a culturally safe manner
• Experience/knowledge developing Safety/Risk management plans and managing suicidal and self-harming behaviour.

• Knowledge and/or experience working with school refusal, behavioural challenges, and family breakdown
• Along with Clinical Supervision, established practices of self-care
• WA Drivers Licence Preferred:
• Registered as a Psychologist with AHPRA
• Experience working with young people with complex trauma including children diagnosed with: Eating Disorders, Emerging Unstable Personality Disorders, ADHD, Conduct Disorders, ASD
• Experience supervising staff either as direct reports or otherwise Qualifications Required
• Psychology Degree
• Current WWC Check
