About this Role
We are looking for a motivated Electronics Technician to fulfil a position within an innovative Defence technology company delivering advanced electronic and RF-based systems. This role offers the opportunity to work across advanced systems, supporting installation, testing, maintenance, and ongoing operational capability for critical Defence projects.
You'll play a key role across the full product lifecycle from assembly and prototyping through to field deployment, customer training, and ongoing support. This is a highly varied position combining workshop, field-based, and customer-facing responsibilities.
This will be an exciting opportunity for any Ex-Defence Electronics Technician.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble, test, and maintain electronic components and systems.
* Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting across hardware and sub-systems.
* Perform maintenance and calibration of electronic equipment.
* Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to understand and address technical issues.
* Collaborate with engineers, other technicians, procurement, and project teams to develop and improve electronic systems and delivery.
* Provide training and ongoing support to end users and customers.
Skills & Experience Needed
* Must be an Australian citizen who can obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1.
* Trade Qualifications in Electronics, Communications or Avionics.
* Experience and understanding within the Defence industry.
* An Ex-Defence Electronics Technician or an Electronics Technician who specialises in communications, RF or radars would be ideal.
