System Development Specialist:
This critical role involves the design, integration, and deployment of secure government systems in support of Defence.
As part of our future growth, we invite experienced professionals to contribute to the development of mission planning systems.
This position supports the sustainment, security, and evolution of ICT systems across fixed and deployed environments.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the development, introduction to service, sustainment, and enhancement of mission planning software and hardware.
* Maintenance and configuration of physical servers, networking hardware, and mission planning laptops.
* Installing, configuring, testing, and deploying software.
* Providing technical support on Defence strategic networks.
* Assisting with security accreditation activities for Mission Planning Systems.
* Identifying and managing technical risks, while contributing to program documentation and reporting.
Desirable skills include experience in MS Windows platforms, administration of client operating systems, software scripting, configuration management, and Office applications.
Additional desirable skills include aviation mission planning systems, networking, Linux systems administration, SQL databases, VMware/Hyper-V, McAfee, and geospatial data.
