Responsibilities:
1. Engage in open communication and regular reporting with project stakeholders, advising on risks, scope gaps, and Value Management opportunities.
2. Ensure risks identified in Design Reviews are actioned and closed out, while coordinating file structures and Aconex systems with the team prior to project commencement.
3. Assist Estimating and Business Development teams with concept design cost planning, and support the tender/submission/ECI phase.
4. Prepare, maintain, and monitor Design Programs and Budgets, and manage design meetings, workshops, and consultant engagements.
5. Focus on continuous improvement of design approaches, systems, procedures, and documentation to enhance project efficiency.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management and/or Architecture, with experience in a similar role in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 environment.
* Extensive design experience with large new builds and fit-outs, and a sound understanding of design principles and compliance codes.
* Strong negotiation, influencing, communication, and time management skills, with exposure to SharePoint and Aconex.
* Excellent organisational skills and a strong team-focused approach.
