The opportunity
As a Truck Driver at Emdaman Transport, you will play a vital role in safely transporting goods across Queensland. This full-time position, based in Rockhampton QLD 4700, offers the chance to be part of a supportive team and contribute to the efficient operation of our road transport business.
Key responsibilities
* Operate a powder tanker at various mine sites in Central QLD.
* Rockhampton local job, home most nights.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are roadworthy
* Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to deliveries
* A comprehensive understanding of the NHVR requirements and the Transport & Logistics industry
* Physical fitness to thrive in a fast-moving and dynamic work environment.
* Reliability and punctuality to ensure consistent performance.
* Assist with loading and unloading goods when necessary
* Display confidence in backing trucks and trailers into designated spaces.
What we're looking for
* A current MC driver's license
* Must have or willing to obtain Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
* Demonstrated experience as a MC Truck Driver (2 Years)
* Excellent driving skills and a strong safety-focused mindset
* Good communication
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexible attitude and willingness to work a variety of shifts, including some nights and weekends
