As the Restaurant Manager of Shiki Japanese Restaurant, you will be leading the charge to ensure our guests enjoy a truly memorable experience. You will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service, setting high standards, and finding new ways to exceed them.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of daily restaurant operations, including management of staff, inventory, and customer satisfaction.
* Leadership in implementing Shiki's evolution, including updates to the restaurant concept and customer experience.
* Training and managing a team of front-of-house staff.
* Ensuring food and beverage standards meet IHG's commitment to responsible business practices.
* Handling guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
* Managing scheduling and payroll for restaurant staff.
* Developing and implementing strategies to improve customer satisfaction and restaurant performance.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 4+ years' related experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role.
* Proficiency in restaurant management software, table management reservations systems, and POS systems.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
* Ability to speak to restaurant financial indicators.
* Flexibility to lead each service period and contribute to hotel operations if required.
