The Team & Role
This role provides essential frontline administrative support within the Rosebud Hospital Emergency Department, delivering a professional, welcoming, and informative reception for all patients and visitors. The Ward Clerk reports to the Patient Reception Unit and the Rosebud Emergency Ward Clerk Manager, and works closely with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) of the Rosebud Emergency Department to support efficient daily operations. Responsibilities include accurate and timely patient registrations, admissions, transfers, and discharges, as well as general clerical support to the NUM, Director, and broader clinical team. The position requires a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and delivering consistently high levels of customer service. Availability across a 7 day rotating roster (including night shift) is essential and allowances apply as per the relevant Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.

Skills & Experience Required
1. Administration experience within a health service setting
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Understands the purpose of, and is able to use, common software applications and or 2*** (option 1).
