St Vincents Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) is part of St Vincents Health Australia under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries. We are a not-for-profit Catholic private hospital operating across four campuses: Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Kew and Werribee.
We are seeking an experienced and welcoming Operating Theatre Prosthesis Clerk to join our team at the Kew campus. This role requires strong clerical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to provide high-quality customer service in a busy clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Collect and enter patient prosthetic information into WebPAS IBA patient management system
Accurately enter surgical MBS codes
Provide clerical support to the Operating Theatre team
Communicate effectively with staff, patients and external stakeholders
Key Selection Criteria
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and hospital information systems (WebPAS)
High level attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
Demonstrated competency in medical terminology
Experience with IBA Patient Management System (desirable)
Previous hospital or healthcare clerical experience highly regarded
