In this role, you will provide critical engineering and maintenance services across manufacturing and administration, playing a key part in supporting our business growth and sustainability projects. You must currently be living in Australia with full working rights. Must have an A Grade Electrical License Must have PLC and DCS experience Experience working in a manufacturing or Heavy Industrial environment The Role Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is reliable, fit for purpose, and operating safely. This is a hands-on role with a diverse scope of work ranging from breakdown repairs to high-level project design. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Coordination: Manage breakdown, preventative, and predictive maintenance for plant, equipment, and buildings. Troubleshooting: Provide technical expertise to solve complex reliability and performance issues. Project Support: Assist the engineering team with the design, fabrication, construction, and commissioning of improvement projects. Contractor Management: Oversee contractor performance, ensuring all site safety rules and environmental requirements are strictly followed. Data Analysis: Use maintenance history to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved equipment efficiency. Technical Execution: Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, panels, and fixtures, including troubleshooting PLC I/O, sensors, and drives. What You Bring You are a problem-solver who can prioritize workloads effectively and make sound decisions regarding the severity of maintenance issues. Requirements: Experience: 5 years of experience in commercial work, preferably within the chemical industry. Licensing: Must hold an Unrestricted Electrical Licence. Technical Skills: * Proficiency in reading electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Strong knowledge of PLC/DCS automation systems (Siemens experience highly regarded). Experience with electrical equipment in hazardous areas. Knowledge of Australian standards and regulations. Safety: Working at Heights certification and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
