About The Role The Project Officer, Online Learning is a key member of the Plink Development Team within Learning & Development.
This role plays an important part in supporting the planning, development and review of high-quality online learning resources that enhance capability across the department's workforce.
A core responsibility of the position is to produce modern, innovative and engaging online professional learning using a range of industry-standard tools and platforms.
The Project Officer also manages administrative functions related to the Plink Development team, including the team inbox, URL shortening service and professional subscriptions.
The role is also responsible for the delivery of support services by assisting with the Plink helpdesk and broader administration activities to ensure a smooth user experience for staff accessing online learning.
The position further contributes to collating, reviewing and reporting on learner feedback and engagement data related to current online professional learning offerings.
These insights help inform targeted review schedules and support continuous improvement.
The Project Officer also provides advice and guidance to key stakeholder groups, facilitating the review, update and enhancement of content to ensure it remains relevant and effective.
Experience Experience with online learning systems and the creation of learner content is highly desirable.
Qualifications A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable, but not essential.
Special Conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration ASO4 $76,561 - $80,256 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
