SAP Planning Systems and Process Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced SAP Planning Systems and Process Specialist to join our Operational Planning team as part of our boarder Supply Chain function. In this role, you'll design, develop, and implement high-quality supply and materials planning systems and processes that enhance our capabilities and drive continuous improvement.

You'll act as a solution developer, implementer, and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP IBP, partnering closely with IT and planning teams to deliver best-in-class solutions. Your work will directly contribute to Sigma's vision of operational excellence and innovation as we push forward in a new world post-merger with Chemist Warehouse.

This merger represents one of the most significant transformations in the Australian healthcare landscape, and you'll be at the forefront of building integrated, innovative planning solutions that support our expanded network and evolving business needs.

What will the role involve?

Reporting into and supporting the Demand Planning and Systems Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Designing and implementing planning system solutions and end-to-end planning processes that work in practice.
* Working closely with IT to build, test, and deploy new SAP IBP functionality and system enhancements.
* Continuously improving planning systems and processes to lift forecast accuracy, product availability, and inventory outcomes.
* Identifying gaps in current processes or system capability and develop practical, scalable improvements.
* Leading and supporting system upgrades and new functionality, ensuring changes are delivered smoothly with minimal impact on planning teams.
* Creating and delivering training, guidance, and process documentation to support adoption of new systems and ways of working.
* Acting as a subject matter expert, providing hands‐on support and coaching to Demand and Supply Planning teams.
Who are we looking for?

To excel in the role, the successful candidate will possess the following key skills and experience:

* Advanced SAP IBP expertise – including configuration, reporting, and the ability to identify and implement opportunities for improved ways of working.
* Demonstrated experience developing dashboards and data models in Power BI, with SQL reporting capability.
* Proven experience in Supply, Demand, or Materials Planning, with strong technical understanding of planning processes and systems.
* Ability to act as a bridge between IT and Planning, translating technical requirements into practical solutions.
* Influencing and stakeholder engagement skills to partner effectively and drive initiatives forward with Technology and other business teams.
* Exceptional attention to detail and analytical capability to ensure accuracy and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will be required to hold a current driver's licence to be able to travel when required as part of the role. They will also be required to complete a National Police Check.

We operate in a flexible, hybrid working way, offering 4-days in the office, with 1-day work from home option.

This is a pivotal role in our growing, purpose‐driven organisation. With ample opportunities to shape quality strategy and influence national operations, join a supportive team culture that values innovation and integrity. In addition to this working environment, some other workplace benefits include:

* Opportunities for career advancement and network development.
* Employee discounts on a wide range of products as well as corporate discounts on Healthcare Premiums and Novated Leasing.
* Access to EAP services.
* Subsidised onsite canteen.
* Complimentary shuttle bus service from the nearby train stations to support public transport users.
