* Utilise your investigations expertise to provide support and advice to the People Safety and Culture branch * Fixed-Term (until 30/06/2027), Full-Time opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service * VPS Grade 4: $100,894 - $114,476 plus superannuation. About Us: People, Safety and Culture's core functions span the breadth of workplace cultural, and people matters, including human resources policy and strategy; organisational culture and change; recruitment, redeployment, and retention; performance and development; pay, benefits and workforce reporting; occupational health and safety management; and employment regulations. About the Role: Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Employee Investigations (EI), this position is responsible for assisting with misconduct and reportable conduct investigations and providing administrative and systems support to the Employee Investigations team. Some of your duties will include: * Applying sound knowledge, judgement and well-developed analytical skills to assess and review information, evidence and data trends. * Conducting and assisting in employee misconduct and reportable conduct investigations across DJCS. This may include the preparation of necessary documentation, conducting interviews, evidence gathering, making findings and authoritative report writing on behalf of business units. * Assisting with the management of externally engaged investigators. * Initiating and building positive relationships with peers, managers and stakeholders, both within and external to DJCS. About You: As an ideal candidate, you will possess: * Independently performs investigative administrative and other duties as required. * Responds promptly to requests from stakeholders and proactively contributes to the improvement of processes. * Strong written communication skills and attention to detail. Qualifications * A background in investigations is desirable, for this role. Studies or qualifications in law or experience in Government Investigations would also be an advantage. * An Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) will be required for this role at the expense of the applicant, once successfully in the role.
