At Dare Disability, we’re looking for a values-driven Project Coordinator to lead the delivery of our exciting new DARE Academy initiative. This program supports people with disability in developing the skills, confidence, and pathways they need to thrive in employment.
What you'll be doing:
As Project Coordinator, you’ll oversee all aspects of the DARE Academy project—from planning and execution to stakeholder engagement and reporting. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the program meets its milestones and delivers real, lasting outcomes.
You Will:
Lead and coordinate the DARE Academy project, ensuring milestones, budgets, and outcomes are delivered.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive engagement and program success.
Develop and deliver curriculum and support packages to empower people with disability toward employment.
Support and train staff (including Support Workers) using a Train-the-Trainer model.
Establish and maintain relationships with DES providers, employers, and community stakeholders.
Report to senior leadership and the project steering committee on progress, challenges, and impact.
Promote the program in collaboration with Marketing to attract participants and ensure supports are appropriately matched.
Supervise Job Coaches and oversee the delivery of participant support programs.
About you:
You’re someone who thrives on coordination, innovation, and working for a purpose. You’ll bring:
- Experience in disability employment or supported employment services, or a strong commitment to the sector- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to train others and present with confidence- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint- A passion for driving change, learning, and continuous improvement- The ability to work collaboratively and lead with initiative
