Land Registration Officer at Careers at Council
Location: Nowra, New South Wales
Responsibilities
- Undertake and coordinate the review and finalisation of subdivision certificates submitted to Council.
- Provide research and administrative support to the Development Coordinators and Engineers within the Development Services Department.
- Resolve enquiries from and dealing with consultants, solicitors and applicants regarding subdivision applications.
- Use the PEXA Platform, including creating workspaces, coordinating and arranging deferred payment settlements, Discharge of Mortgage settlements, RATU/variations, etc.
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate III in Business Administration and/or equivalent experience and related skills.
- Certificate IV in Local Government (Planning) or equivalent.
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills for customer service, dispute resolution and negotiation.
- Ability to consult, share information and work collaboratively.
- Knowledge of the development application process, particularly subdivisions.
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to balance workloads and meet deadlines.
- Class C Driver's Licence.
- Familiarity with legislation related to land titles and registration is advantageous.
About the Role
This is a fixed term/full time position for 4 months.
This position is responsible for undertaking and coordinating the review and finalisation of subdivision certificates submitted to Council.
