The opportunity to contribute to delivering high-quality programs and live events is available. As a Broadcast IT Support Technician at our state-of-the-art site, you will play a key role in maintaining our editing and design production facilities. Reporting to the Head of Technical Services, you will work with cutting-edge digital and 2110 IP technology to support studio and field production gear, editing, graphics, control rooms, and broadcast infrastructure.
Responsibilities
You will support and administer a broad range of systems and workstations, including Active Directory, Adobe Creative Suite, Avid tools, Autodesk Flame, VMware, Quantum StorNext, Telestream, and Signiant. You will also troubleshoot and resolve faults, perform upgrades, and manage post-production/design workstations, storage, and asset management systems.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Broadcast IT Support Technician with strong communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset. You must be proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive under pressure in fast-paced environments. Knowledge of television technology fundamentals and ability to use television tools and measuring equipment is essential. Basic understanding of electronics, Windows/Linux administration, and IP networking is also required. Previous experience in a broadcast engineering or support role, including experience working with Avid Editing systems, is highly desirable.
