Lead Clinical Coordinator
At our esteemed organisation, we are seeking an accomplished Clinical Coordinator to spearhead the clinical delivery of high-quality services. About the Role
The Clinical Coordinator will assume a key leadership position overseeing the coordination and delivery of evidence-based clinical services. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, provide clinical governance, supervise staff and students, and contribute directly to service delivery through your own clinical work.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic clinical leadership and support across the team
* Lead regular clinical and caseload reviews, and manage service demand effectively
* Deliver psychological therapies to young people with compassion and expertise
* Ensure all clinical work meets professional, legal, and ethical standards
* Support staff through supervision, development, and a positive team culture
* Collaborate with local services and stakeholders to ensure integrated care
* Contribute to accreditation, quality improvement, and data-driven evaluation processes
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced clinician with leadership capability and a passion for youth mental health. You will demonstrate excellent clinical judgement, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and a collaborative approach to service delivery.
* Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, or Occupational Therapy
* Full registration with APHRA or membership with AASW
* Demonstrated clinical experience supporting young people with mental health needs
* Strong leadership and supervision skills in a multidisciplinary environment
* Experience managing clinical risk and providing high-quality mental health services
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
* Current Blue Card (Working with Children) and Yellow Card (or eligibility)
* Full COVID-19 vaccination
* Open QLD Driver's Licence
