We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Engineer to join our team in a full-time Graduate role.
Job Description
This role involves the installation, maintenance, and servicing of laboratory diagnostic instruments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth operation of these systems. With national travel requirements, you will also have opportunities to work with various stakeholders across the country.
You will play a critical role in assisting with the deployment and integration of new equipment in laboratory settings. This includes collaborating with our technical experts to ensure seamless integration and minimal downtime. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be essential in resolving technical issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require a strong foundation in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline. You should possess valid driver's license and permanent work rights in Australia. Additionally, proficiency in MS Windows environments and knowledge of LIS systems, Middleware Solutions, Linux, CAN-BUS, and interfacing principles would be advantageous.
You will need to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, apply engineering principles to real-world challenges, and work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to collaborate effectively with customers and colleagues.
* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline
* Valid driver's license and permanent work rights in Australia
* Proficiency in MS Windows environments; knowledge of LIS systems, Middleware Solutions, Linux, CAN-BUS, and interfacing principles is advantageous
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world challenges
