About the Program:
The objective of our Graduate Registered Nurse Program at REDHS is to support you in your first year of nursing practice. Working across our Acute, Community Nursing and Aged Care Services, you will have the opportunity to consolidate your clinical skills whilst gaining valuable experience providing care in a variety of settings.
Graduates will benefit from interactive study days, career guidance, and regular debriefs throughout the year.
With the support of a dedicated Clinical Educator, you’ll be guided through your graduate program with ongoing check-ins from nurse managers and educators. REDHS also offers numerous professional development opportunities.
What the Program Offers You:
Flexible Part-Time and Full-Time positions
The chance of ongoing, permanent employment contract
Choice of two rotations across our Acute Services (including Community Nursing) and Yalukang Aged Care
Exceptional educational support at the bedside
Development and networking events
Selection Criteria:
Eligibility for registration as a registered nurse with the Nurses and Midwives board (AHPRA)
Be able to undertake full or part time employment on a seven-day rotating roster
Have a high level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Enthusiasm and a can do attitude

About REDHS
Rochester and Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) is situated in Rochester which is the gateway to the mighty Murray River region and close to the regional centres of Echuca, Bendigo and Shepparton.
We are an integrated rural health service, providing a broad range of acute, residential aged care, preventative and primary health programs to a population of approximately 8,600 people in the Campaspe and Bendigo Shires.
We enjoy a strong relationship with our community and we are focused on delivering services that meet their needs.
Following the flood in October 2022, we commenced an extensive rebuild of our facility which was completed in January 2025.
