Royal Victoria Collection is seeking a talented and passionate Senior Interior Designer to grow this business.
The concept is be different from the competitors.
We sell High End Engineered stone that mimics natural stone. It is engineered for benchtops but the industry lacks high end natural looking stones. Why use engineered stone tops? They are less than half the price of natural stone. Lets help more people get the luxury feeling each time they come home.
We are putting together a different type of showroom. Kitchen Bathroom Selections. It needs to be designed by you and the owner Tim Banks.
The objective is to create the BEST HIGH END kitchen and bathroom selections showroom in Queensland. 10 full kitchens and 15 bathrooms displays. With an emphasis on the RVC stone range.
Next Phase : Expand the business through marketing to designers, builders, cabinet makers, stonemasons. You will have the opportunity to help design marketing material for social media and direct marking campaigns.
Once the showroom is built you will have the opportunity to help clients in the showroom choose various products.
Expand our range of stone. Stay on trend by working with our suppliers to create new colours like Travertine look or rare marble stone.
Expand our range of products. Solid stone bathtubs and integrated sinks will also be added to the range of products. What other items do you think would complement our range of products?
Creating new opportunities to use out product in residential settings
Creating designs that not only one family will enjoy but hundreds of families can adapt to their homes
Use thermoforming in creative stone surface designs
About You
· Passionate about interior design and stone benchtops for kitchens and bathrooms
· Minimum 5 years' experience in residential interior design
· Proficiency in software design tools. Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp or Revit is favourable
· Creative eye and extensive knowledge of materials, finishes, suppliers and market trends relating to kitchens and bathrooms
· Strong portfolio of residential work
· Strong knowledge in kitchen and bathroom custom joinery design
· Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
· Strong communication skills
· Collaborative and team-focused
· Fantastic Time management
· Perseverance and resilience to get the job done
· Be able to commute to Rocklea each day, there is no opportunity to work from home once the showroom / office is set up.
