About the Opportunity
Senior Sustainability Advisor – part of the Office of Major Transport Infrastructure Delivery (OMTID). The role embeds sustainability outcomes into all phases of large and complex transport infrastructure projects, shaping and advancing OMTID's sustainability strategic program.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist technical advice to project teams on integrating sustainability objectives into planning, design and delivery.
* Review project designs to ensure compliance with sustainability standards, identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
* Develop and deliver sustainability training to project managers, improving organisational capability.
* Contribute to the development and achievement of OMTID's sustainability objectives, plans and policies, fostering knowledge sharing across projects.
* Lead a high‐performing team, managing performance, supporting development and promoting positive behaviours.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in sustainability advisory, with technical knowledge of sustainability frameworks and rating tools.
* Ability to influence project outcomes through clear, practical advice and strong stakeholder relationships.
* Experience in people management, including performance management and team development.
* Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
