Job Description
We are seeking a Paediatric Registrar to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role. The successful applicant will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including paediatricians, psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide high-quality patient care.
The Paediatric Registrar will be responsible for assessing and managing patients with a range of medical and surgical conditions, as well as providing psychiatric services to children and adolescents. This will include conducting ward rounds, attending outpatient clinics, and participating in emergency shifts.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also possess excellent clinical skills, with a strong understanding of child health and development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must:
* Be an Advanced Trainee or Basic Trainee in Paediatrics or Psychiatry;
* Have completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Paediatrics or Psychiatry;
* Have relevant experience working with children and adolescents;
* Hold current registration with the Medical Board of Australia;
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
