The opportunity
As North Projects continues to diversify into new sectors and regions, we now invite expressions of interest from mid-level Quantity Surveyors, Project Controls, Project Engineers and Commercial specialists to support to our major client based in Tasmania, where we provide Cost and Controls expertise. You will have the opportunity to leave a legacy by contributing to the delivery of critical state and national infrastructure projects. With no two days being the same, you'll gain impressive industry experience working amongst some of the best Cost Advisors in the business.
About you
To be successful in this role you will need to have one of the following:
* Previous experience in cost management or estimating services for major infrastructure projects
* Previous Engineering experience in a delivery role, with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
* Core project management skills such as cost management, quality assurance and reporting
* The ability to build and develop trusted client relationships, offering strategic commercial advice and supporting informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycles.
What we are looking for when reviewing your application:
* Strong understanding of contractor methodologies, delivery models and market behaviour
* Strong commercial judgement with the ability to challenge inputs, clarify scope and test assumptions
* Experience in cost advisory work across feasibility, business case, project procurement and or delivery stages.
