Role
Part‑time Lifestyle Assistant – empowering and engaging residents to maximise participation in leisure and lifestyle programmes.
Responsibilities
* Participate in the development, implementation and assessment of therapeutic plans.
* Support residents to engage in their leisure and lifestyle choices and activities.
* Assist staff and volunteers in the provision of leisure and lifestyle programmes.
Requirements
* Experience in aged care or supporting residents with lifestyle and leisure programmes.
* Ability to provide high‑quality leisure and lifestyle programmes that improve customer wellbeing.
* Well‑developed verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to operate independently and participate in a multidisciplinary team.
* Understanding of relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, professional standards and guidelines in the aged and community care environment.
To be successful
* Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.
* Experience in a care role highly regarded.
* Valid working rights in Australia (passport, birth certificate, etc.).
* Complete a police check.
* NDIS worker check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).
