Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and update menus, including seasonal specials.
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes, ensuring top-notch taste and presentation.
Ensure exceptional presentation of dishes, meeting our high standards.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, including line and prep cooks, for a smooth operation.
Manage kitchen supplies and ingredients, ensuring proper stock rotation and efficient use.
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards for a clean, safe kitchen workplace.
Assist the Head Chef with kitchen operations, issue resolution, and staff scheduling.
Coordinate with front-of-house to ensure seamless service and handle special customer requests.
Contribute to menu development with new dish ideas and recipe testing.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume kitchen.
Certificate IV in commercial cookery and Diploma in hospitality preferred.
Strong culinary skills with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and handle kitchen challenges effectively.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
