**Payroll Business Partner**(**Job Number**:250000T9**)**

**About the role**:
Urgent start, mid July - Fixed Term Contract 6 months

The purpose of the Payroll Business Partner is to ensure the end-to-end payroll is delivered in an accurate, reliable and timely manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare, review and deliver end-to-end fortnightly and monthly pays for all staff directly employed by RACQ Group, in a reliable, accurate and timely manner for Manager Payroll’s approval (or relevant delegate)
- Coordinate the preparation, production, reconciliation, reporting and payment for end of month tasks for the Manager Payroll’s approval within established timeframes, including but not limited to, payroll tax, PAYG tax, superannuation and deductions
- Maintain employee records and process employee movement including new starters, transfers and terminations
- Assist staff with general payroll queries
- Consult with external regulatory bodies such as, but not limited to, Centrelink, Australian Bureau of Statistics, credit providers, Australian Taxation Office and process associated paperwork.

**About you**:

- Commitment for a full time 6 month contract
- Payroll experience in a high-volume environment, contact centre and enterprise agreements
- System skills in Cris21 would be desirable
- Experience in processing and delivery of end-to-end pay cycles, across multiple periods within expected timeframes
- Ability to interpret complex Enterprise Agreements and company policies and procedures
- Advanced understanding of leave entitlements, PAYG tax, superannuation, payroll tax, salary sacrifice and other deductions
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Robust written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to self-motivate, work both independently and in a team whilst collaborating with, supporting and mentoring team members
- Strong numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy
