Role
The Member Services Officer is the heart of the club, responsible for Sales, Reception and Merchandising activities. The position involves prospecting, touring, closing and generating referrals to acquire new members, while delivering exceptional customer service in line with the club's Mission, Vision and Values.
Key Responsibilities
* Prospect and close new memberships and renewals.
* Provide excellent customer service in person and over the telephone.
* Promote club services and programs to customers and accept bookings and enrolments.
* Handle cash transactions using point‐of‐sale (POS) systems.
Qualifications and Experience
* Prior experience in fitness, sales, customer service or a retail environment (highly advantageous).
* Excellent communication skills.
* Friendly attitude and customer‐service mindset encouraged.
Certifications and Checks
* Current First Aid & CPR certification.
* Working With Children Check (or equivalent) and National Police Check.
