About the Role
As a Machine Operator, you will safely and efficiently operate production equipment to meet performance and quality targets. You will play a key role in keeping our manufacturing lines running smoothly by:
* Setting up and operating machinery to specification
* Conducting quality checks to meet technical standards
* Replenishing machines with raw materials
* Troubleshooting machine issues and minimising downtime
* Completing reporting across quality, waste, productivity and engineering
* Performing routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance
* Participating in continuous improvement
* Supporting and training other operators as needed
This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically minded, enjoys problem solving, and takes pride in producing great work.
What You'll Bring
* Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem‐solving ability
* High attention to detail and a focus on quality
* Good communication skills
* Basic to intermediate computer skills
* Experience operating or minding manual machinery in an FMCG environment (desirable)
* Experience in printing/packaging or RFMCG production (desirable)
* Forklift licence (desirable)
