Position: Perishables Warehouse Manager
Location : Indian Trail, NC
Hours : 2nd shift – 5pm start (~9 hour shifts, 5x a week). (Responsible for 7 day coverage including weekends)
Salary : Base range of $75,000-$100,000, with bonus
Interview process: 2 rounds. 1st Round virtual. 2nd round onsite.
SUMMARY:
Insight Global is seeking a Perishables Warehouse Manager for one of our retail clients. In this role, you will manage supervisors who supervise employees in the Shipping, Receiving, Bldg. and Grounds, Salvage Dock, Reclaim and Inventory Control, and/or other department(s) as assigned (approximately 300 people). Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. The ideal candidate has previous experience working within a Food warehouse environment with strong understanding of safety procedures, Cold Chain Compliance knowledge, and ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Must Have:
* Previous Distribution/ Logistics/Warehouse Experience
* Cold Chain Compliance knowledge and understanding
* Temperature control, regulatory standards, planning/ documentation/ SOPs
* Ability to understand, read, and make decisions based on Profit and Loss (P&L) statements
* Microsoft Office (excel, outlook)
