Roadways is Tasmania's largest road surfacing company, specialising in bituminous surfacing. We deliver large-scale surfacing contracts across Tasmania for both state and local government.
Job Opportunity
We are currently seeking candidates with asphalt and sealing experience or a desire to learn and progress in the industry.
Based in Burnie and reporting to the Surfacing Supervisor, you will work as part of a team to deliver quality work within tight timeframes. Your duties may include traffic management, operating various mobile plant and machinery, manual labour, and completing accurate administrative tasks.
You must be physically fit, reliable, and able to work a 5/6 day week with overtime as required. Work locations vary across the north west region, so you must also be available to travel.
Qualifications and Skills
* White card
* Traffic Management ticket – highly desirable
* MR/HR licence – highly desirable
* Physical fitness and a positive attitude
* A strong commitment to safety
This role is ideal for traffic controllers or those who have completed the Pathways into Civil Construction program and are looking to advance their careers.
