About the Role
Due to continued business growth, the company seeks an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily roof replacement and repair works in its Maryborough office, QLD. This role suits a driven, hands‑on professional with strong technical and leadership capability who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Reporting directly to senior management, you will manage end‑to‑end site operations, coordinate trades and subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day‑to‑day site operations for roof replacement and repair projects.
* Inspect, scope, and report on required works.
* Supervise multiple projects simultaneously, from commencement through to final handover.
* Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication of scopes and requirements.
* Maintain WHS processes and enforce safety compliance for all personnel on site.
* liaise with clients, assessors, and the office team to provide updates and manage expectations.
* Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and sign‑offs.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in building, roofing, or construction site supervision.
* Strong technical knowledge of roofing systems, repair methods, and general building practices.
* Experience coordinating trades, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Proven understanding of WHS requirements and the ability to enforce safety standards.
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Proficiency in mobile technology, Google Suite, and digital reporting tools.
Desirable:
* Experience in the insurance building sector.
* QBCC Site Supervisor licence or equivalent.
* Understanding of HBCF and associated regulatory frameworks.
* A desire to build a long‑term career in site leadership.
