**About the role**:
The Community Transport team leader effectively supervises the community transport administration and bus driver's teams to ensure delivery of council's transport services in accordance with funded and industry standards. Maintain safety standards in a community transport environment and supervise bus drivers to ensure aged care quality standards and Work Health and Safety Standards are met.
**Duties include**:
- Lead the Transport administration team and bus drivers.
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with The Aged Care Quality Standards & the Transport for NSW funding Contract.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the bus fleet including scheduling routine maintenance services and registration of all buses.
- Plan, develop and implement operational plans ensuring compliance with the Transport for NSW Contract and the Aged Care quality Standards.
- Coordinate and oversee the programs effective intake, assessment, referral processes and systems.
- Ensure funding obligations are met, this includes data collection and monitoring, maintaining client care plans & risk management.
- Maintain team engagement and facilitate a culture that reflects the corporate values.
- Attend the biannual governance meetings with Transport for NSW to discuss performance for the required periods as outlined by Transport for NSW.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Diploma in relevant field and/or demonstrated experience in Aged Care Services or a related field.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and communicate with diverse stakeholders including government departments, community groups and organisations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading a team inspiring and supervising teams of staff and or volunteers.
- Ability to effectively plan and manage multiple tasks and projects according to time lines, agreed outcomes, within budget and times constraints.
- Drivers Licence (Class C) - NSW
