You will make a difference by driving the energy, engagement, and participation of residents into a range of social, recreational, and cultural activities.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Drive the engagement and participation of residents into various social, recreational, and cultural activities.
* Lead mental health and wellbeing programs which empower our resident's choices and independence.
Requirements
* Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle.
* Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable).
* Previous experience within an aged care setting.
* Highly developed organisation and time management skills.
* Able to solve problems independently.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes.
* Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, internet/intranet skills, email communication, and confidence with smart phones and digital devices.
* Knowledge of Work Health and Safety.
