Case Manager Role
This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires experience and skills in case management.
The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of the criminal justice environment and be able to apply this knowledge to develop and enact engagement plans that improve rehabilitation, reintegration, and/or community supervision outcomes for incarcerated individuals.
As a Case Manager, you will use a whole-of-sentence planning approach applying the principles of Risk Need Responsivity (RNR) to case management. You will coordinate activities to support individuals' readiness for release and transition back to the community.
Key responsibilities include:
* Experience in the criminal justice environment including interpretation and application of legislation, policy and practice directives
* Demonstrated assessment and case management experience working with a diverse and complex client base
* Well-developed written communication skills with ability to prepare high quality objective, analytical reports
* Confidence and demonstrated experience in applying professional discretion, reasoning, judgement and decision-making skills
