Our client operates a major hazardous manufacturing facility in Melbourne's west.
They are currently looking for a Civil/Structural Engineer to manage various projects and check designs as part of the Engineering Capital delivery team. The capital budget includes upgrading tanker unloading bunding, concrete tanks remediations and some other concrete works.
The tenure is in the order of 12 months.
You should possess excellent communication skills in order to interface with key operational personnel.
Civil Engineer requirements
* Develop design option assessments
* Check design and propose best solutions
* Generate SOW packs for contractors.
* Conduct Tendering and Technical Bid evaluations of contractor quotes.
* Check and approval of civil and structural design documents.
* Evaluate contractors pricing and negotiate.
* Manage smaller civil and structural project from inception to closure.
* Manage civil work teams on site. Construction white card required.
* Development and review of JSEAs.
* Development of inspection test plans.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
