The Role
Reporting into the Head of Sales and Growth, the Strategic Sales Manager, is responsible for identifying, fostering and the management of 30 key accounts in the growth stream, driving expansion through strong partnerships and tailored solutions. You will lead in-person engagements to uncover needs, shape proposals, and guide strategic initiatives. Internally, you will align with teams to deliver customer-focused offers and seamless onboarding. You own renewals, mitigate risks, and build actionable account plans to support long-term retention and growth—while representing the business at key industry events.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive pipeline growth through proactive outreach to C-Suite level, events, and lead qualification across multiple channels.
* Own the end-to-end sales cycle, tailoring solutions through discovery sessions and strategic engagement.
* Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to convert interest into customised proposals and deals.
* Consistently hit sales targets while delivering compelling insights and presentations to enterprise clients.
* Represent the business at industry events and invest in continuous learning to stay sharp and effective.
* Deliver smooth onboarding experiences, including technical setup, training sessions, and early adoption support.
* Maintain regular contact with key clients, offering insights and support through check-ins and quarterly reviews.
* Act as the main point of contact for issue resolution and escalation across high-value accounts.
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational challenges and ensure account health is maintained.
* Use CRM and analytics tools to track performance, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement.
* Build strategic partnerships focused on long-term growth, mutual success, and account expansion.
* Develop and execute tailored account plans to drive retention, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
* Lead renewals and commercial negotiations while identifying enhancements that boost customer value.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver a seamless customer experience and resolve pain points.
* Monitor market trends and customer feedback to refine strategy and advocate for competitive
Skills and Requirements
* At least 5 years experience in salesmanagement, account management, or customer success, ideally within B2B or e-commerce sectors.
* Demonstrated success in building, nurturing, and maintaining key client relationships.
* Results-oriented with a strong commercial focus and expertise in deal negotiation and closing.
* Skilled in analyzing account metrics, market dynamics, and customer insights to inform decisions.
* Exceptional communication skills, capable of clearly conveying complex information to diverse audiences.
* Creative and effective problem solver, adept at resolving client challenges and enhancing workflows.
